With changes to the financial planning industry coming into effect on 1 July 2013, advisors are expected to become much more selective in who they accept as clients. With the majority of baby boomers retiring in the next ten years, this expectation that advisors will be more selective in choosing clients could lead those who have not planned well out in the dark when needing good advice.
