Joe Yerdon Talks Sabres, Plus Best Classic Rock Songs

On this episode of Talking Buffalo Podcast, Patrick Moran is joined by sports writer and podcast Joe Yerdon, back for a second consecutive day and this time with the focus on the Buffalo Sabres as well as other topics, including the return of their Starting Five draft. Training camp and the preseason are underway for the Sabres and Joe has plenty of insight on a handful of players on the roster bubble to start the season in Buffalo, including top prospects Jack Quinn and J.J. Peterka. Joe also discusses how a pair of first-round picks have looked in camp, Matthew Savoie and Jiri Kulich. The guys also spend time discussing Joe being back on the Sabres and NHL beat, allowing him to return to his “rink rat” roots as well some things we can look for from Joe content-wise. Before leaving they have their first Starting Five draft in nearly a month, selecting their favorite classic rock songs.
