Joe Yerdon On a Crazy Buffalo Sports & News Week

It’s Casual Friday on Talking Buffalo Podcast, which means Patrick Moran is joined by Noted Hockey author, sports media personality and friend Joe Yerdon to talk about a variety of topics in what was a loaded sports/news week, including the Buffalo Sabres trading franchise center Jack Eichel, O.J. Simpson recently spending time in Buffalo, Aaron Rodgers getting caught in a lie (though not technically) and the Bills reportedly coming close to trading Mitch Trubisky among other things. The guys add a little more to the Jack Eichel trade on the heels of a Talking Buffalo Podcast “Emergipod” that dropped Thursday fully covering it. The guys have thoughts on Jack’s character off the ice and if he deserved a lot or any of the blame many disgruntled fans are laying at his feet for Buffalo’s woeful on-ice performance during Jack’s tenure. They also talk about the team not playing so well on the west coast after a blazing start to the season. They also talk about the sensationalizing of OJ Simpson being in Buffalo last week and how they would handle a personal encounter with the polarizing Simpson.
