Bills Schedule Reaction, Arttu Ruotsalienen, Bob Lanier & Best Rock Band Frontmen

It’s Casual Friday on Talking Buffalo Podcast, which means Patrick Moran is joined by Noted Hockey author and Maintenance Day podcaster Joe Yerdon to discuss round of the release of the Buffalo Bills/NFL schedule and the madness that comes with it, the iconic life of Buffalo legend Bob Lainer, a dive into what Sabres prospect Arttu Ruotsalienen’s future may hold, a Starting Five draft of Best Rock Frontmen and more. The NFL schedule is out and the guys have plenty of thoughts on it, including how crazy fans (and media) get over the buildup to the release with leaks, the Bills playing on Thanksgiving for a third time in four years and their preference to have all Sunday 1pm games, something that clearly isn’t happening anytime soon. They also pay homage to Buffalo basketball icon Bob Lanier, who passed away at age 73 this week as well as discuss if Ruotsalienen is a player that will succeed with the Sabres if given more time or if he’s just a really good AHL level player. They end with their weekly Starting Five draft, first reviewing Joe’s shellacking of Patrick last week in the MCU Movies category before taking on the best leading rock band frontmen this week. Follow Joe on Twitter @JoeYerdon, and be sure to listen to Joe and Lance Lysowski’s “Maintenance Day” podcast every Monday. ♦♦♦♦♦ Follow Patrick Moran/Talking Buffalo Podcast Twitter: @PatMoranTweets.
