Bills Preseason Takeaways, Sabres Pipeline & Best Disney Characters Draft

It’s Casual Friday on Talking Buffalo Podcast, which means Patrick Moran is joined by Noted Hockey author and Maintenance Day podcaster Joe Yerdon to discuss several topics, including the biggest takeaways from the Buffalo Bills preseason, the Buffalo Sabres pipeline, exiting of several local TV newspeople and this week’s “Starting Five” draft of Best Disney Characters. The Bills are wrapping up their preseason in Carolina with nearly all the starters sitting. Patrick has several takeaways from this preseason, most completely blown off by Joe because he thinks preseason games are meaningless. They do have discussions though on the Bills being the heavy national favorite to win the Super Bowl and what that means as well as the continued absence of Tre White having an effect on this season. Patrick and Joe also have a discussion on how many local people in TV news are leaving the market, either for similar jobs in other cities or leaving the business altogether. They go over several reasons why it’s happening. They also discuss The Athletic naming the Sabres as the top NHL pipeline or a second straight season, draft their favorite Disney characters and much more.
