The Author

Roselyn Teukolsky was born in Johannesburg in South Africa, where she graduated from the University of the Witwatersand with a B.Sc. in Maths and Chemistry. She emigrated at the age of twenty-three to the United States and soon found herself graduating from Cornell University with an M.S. in Mathematics Education. Roselyn is married with children and grandchildren. For Most of her life she taught Maths and Computer Science mainly at Ithaca High School in Upstate New York. Since retiring in 2009 she and her husband Saul used to split their time between Ithaca, New York State and Pasadena in California. Nowadays Roselyn and her husband Saul a professor of Physics have opted to stay in California having forsaken the beautiful New York State winters. I do wonder however if the Bridge games are better on the West Pacific Coastline.

Roselyn is also the author of ‘The Barron’s Review’ book for AP Computer Science, which is presently in its thirteenth edition.

The Books

The first thing to point out is, that yes, the storyline is a series around the main characters especially Madeline, but the story within each book is very much on a stand-alone basis.

An intense thrilling story wrapped up in fifty-eight fast-paced enthralling chapters awaits your attention here. Madeline Geiger is a cybersecurity expert, extremely adept at keeping foreign unwanted cyber-attacks at bay. However, her personal life is a complete roller coast ride. This complex woman is exactly that, complex! For many a straightforward relationship around love, sex and friendship is one of life’s great privileges, but not Madeline. Her Professional life is just as chaotic. The story kicks off with a ransomware attack on her own computer that which not only puts her files under siege but her life and her mindset too. A new online date Vincent, a neurobiologist by profession is another complicated character thrown into the melting pot, his labyrinthine of characteristics that he has been given would put anybody with a balanced mind on guard. What dark science lurks behind Vincent’s Lab door? Who is Stalking Madeline from behind the screen and equally in her own life? Oh! And to compound matters her mother’s onset of dementia is becoming a real issue threatening to turn Madeline’s life upside down. 

So, for me this dark thriller weaving digital sabotage and psychological suspense into one heck of a plot is simply a must read. 

In the interview we will focus on the following chapters, one, two, nine, ten, fourteen, fifteen, twenty, twenty-one, twenty-nine, thirty, thirty-seven, thirty-eight, forty-five, forty- six and fifty-two. By then you’ll have sufficient armoury to consider buying the book to see the full extent of what the book must reveal, who is the attacker, the suitor and what dark concealments skulk behind the door of Vincent’s lab. Hmm….

Madeline Geiger’s life has stalled following a skydiving accident with her late husband. Who she thought he was and who she discovers he was through spying for the FBI couldn’t be more opposing. What of the Co-workers who worked alongside her late husband, and who’s the killer lurking close by in this tight- knit working environment? What do they hope to gain from their clandestine activities. Hmm…
