Show Notes

Welcome to “Talkin’ about Pigs” – a podcast where individuals from the Swine Medicine Education Center (SMEC) discuss swine health topics over coffee. Each podcast episode covers a different swine health topic of interest to pork producers. All topics are generated from pork producer questions! We keep the topic producer oriented, with the goal of bringing pork producers relevant information that they can bring back to the farm.

Today’s episode covers current research in African Swine Fever (ASF). ASF has continued to spread through the global swine herd. Although not yet detected in the US, this podcast covers current research efforts focused on ASF and how US pork producers can prepare.
