After years of working with patients, Farraday faced medical issues in March 2020 that put her on enforced medical leave without call responsibilities. She is the author of KAIRN: Mates of the Alliance, a science-fiction adventure romance, she is also a 2022 International Impact Book Award winner: Best Romance.
