This week's show is about serious subject, one that most of us don't like to Think about, let alone talk about . . . becoming organ and tissue donors. My guest, Bobby Howard, is a former running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and in 1994, he received a kidney transplant that saved his life . . . today he is an education specialist for LifeLink of Georgia, the federally designated Organ Procurement Organization for the state of Georgia . . . and for the past ten years, he has worked to educate the multi cultural community about the importance of organ and tissue donation.

This week I'm mixing things up a bit with talk and music. Just about a year ago, I interviewed a 16 year old R & B singer from Great Britain, named Charlie Rose. I had written an article about America's seeming obsession with plastic surgery and she had written a song called Created by Design; she spoke to my guest co-host G. His first novel The Pride, published by Kensington Books, is an intriguing look at the unique lives, adventures,mishaps and loves of elite business men and women, who happen to be African American. He gives us an inside track to the wheeling's and dealing's of Wall Street's Elite.

Joining me this week is Johnnie Walker, a 20 year entertainment industry veteran. She served as Senior Vice President of R and B Promotion for both DreamWorks Records and Island Def Jam Music Group. Walker talks to us about an extraordinary organization she founded called the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music and Entertainment, NABFEME.

My guest this week is from the world of beauty. She is Chiquita White, Manager of Pantene Research and Product Development in North America and she shares information with us about Pantene's Relaxed and Natural's Academy of Science and Style, Pantene's partnership with The North American Hair Research Society to study Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia, the most common type of Alopecia found in African American women and the Hair Topia tour.
