Racial disparities in the health system have existed for years and we are beginning to understand them better in order to create equitable health outcomes. In this episode, Rick Malambri speaks with James Simmons, DNP about his experience as a Black health care provider and some of the cultural challenges he has encountered while practicing medicine.
