Show Notes

Anjali Rimi was born in Hyderabad, India, and realized that she was different from the other children around her. Having to flee from her homeland to begin to understand who she was, she found herself in The United States. For the first time in her life, instead of facing harassment over her gender identity, she faced racism. After obtaining her degree and understanding how to navigate in this new world, and keeping to herself, she thrived. Only to find, that hiding her transgender experience from the world did not feed her soul. She needed to come out to the world and thus, Parivar was born.
