It's a VICTORY MONDAY!! The Packers finally overcome adversity in game and rally back to win 31-28 over the Dallas Cowboys in overtime in what is without a doubt the best win of the season. Green Bay's balanced offensive attack worked famously today as the team had 208 passing yards to 207 rushing yards. Not to mention Christian Watson had his coming out party recording 4 catches for 107 yards and three touchdowns. Truly fun stuff from the rookie receiver. Another week, another disappointing Packers lost. This week it came at the hands of the Detroit Lions, but in most part themselves. Rodgers' three interceptions proved fatal for the Packers chances at a win and even sniffing the playoffs without some sort of miracle working it's way into the Packers locker room. The Green Bay Packers did not enter the season as a team looking for moral victories, but after losing three straight before heading to Buffalo to take on the Bills on Sunday Night Football that was pretty much all that Cheeseheads could hope for. The Packers (and us) are spiraling. The Washington Commanders took control of the game after a muffed punt by Amari Rodgers in the first half swung the momentum. For the second year in a row, the Packers are battling backup QB Taylor Heineke in a game against the Washington Commanders. Last year, Heineke wasn't the biggest threat through the air, but racked up 95 yards on 10 carries. The Green Bay Packers lost their first back-to-back regular season games in the Matt Lafleur era and it wasn't pretty. After being tied 3-3 at halftime, the New York Jets decided to show up the rest of the game while the Packers did not. Since the second half of the Giants game, the Packers have been outscored 44-12. It was a new venue for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday but similar problems on both offense and defense continued to plague the Pack, which lost 27-22 to the New York Giants after yet another second half with minimal success moving the ball and none scoring it. Ti Windisch and Adam McGee sat down after the game to discuss the Jekyll and Hyde aspects to Green Bay’s offense, the obvious need for more running plays, why Aaron Rodgers needs to either fit in or stand out but is currently doing neither. The Green Bay Packers held on to beat the New England Patriots in overtime thanks to a clutch Mason Crosby field goal and advanced to 3-1 on the season. The Gyro Step Podcast Network is elated to announce that in addition to the Bucks and Brewers, we'll be providing Green Bay Packers coverage all year through Talk of the Tundra, our newest podcast. In this introductory episode we introduce listeners to Numac, the mononym GSPN community member who we tapped to host our first foray into Packers coverage along with a rotating cast of GSPN regulars including the ones on this episode: Adam McGee, Rohan Katti, and Ti Windisch.
