Amy Brown-Paramedic & Intensive Care Paramedic Instructor at South Central talks of her EMS background, how she got into her career and all the exciting things she's experienced in EMS, Ian Pearson-Paramedic Program Director of South Central College tells his story of EMS and the best moments he's had. Ann Erdmann-EMT & Truman Ambulance tells her experiences in EMS as a mother. Our final guest Zach Morrow-South Central EMS Rehab Coordinator talks rehabilitation and what inspires him to stay in EMS.

Geri from Jerry's ABRA explains the F.R.E.E event (Aug. 10th) partnered with the NABC, USAA, the Genesis Rescue Team, our local fire departments and Affordable Towing to donate cars for the education of first responders on new advanced modeled vehicles. Rebekah Hartman from Alzheimer's Association comes in to talk about 2024 Walk to End Alzheimer's which will be taking place on Saturday September 7 at Spring Lake Park in North Mankato. Mike McLaughlin-Blue Earth County's Veteran Service Officer brings the new Assistant Blue Earth County's Veteran Service officer Nate Pike in to joins Lisa on the 11 o'clock hour to talk about what they've recently been working on, and the services they provide. We also brought another special guest, a 100+ year old veteran born right in New Ulm, Paul. We wanted to thank you for your service and thank you for coming on to Talk of the Town.
