Wolfgang "Beate" Schmidt, also known as the "Beelitz murderer" or the "Pink Giant," is a German serial killer and necrophile responsible for a series of brutal murders and sexual assaults in Brandenburg between 1989 and 1991. Schmidt murdered at least five women and a three-month-old baby, often combining sexual violence with sadistic brutality, post-mortem rape, and a fetishistic obsession with women’s underwear.
