In 1995, Socorro's grandson is tormented by a demon in the form of a harlequin that was originally his favorite toy. In 2008, Grandmother Socorro dies and her family inherits the crucifix, provoking the stalking of witches and demons, including The Harlequin. Terrified, Socorro's daughter decides to bury the crucifix in an attempt to rid herself of the evil beings.
