Show Notes

Today’s Talmud page, Bava Kama 12, explores the difference between land, which is unmovable property, and slaves, which are moveable. The Talmud explores the difference in what must be done to demarcate ownership of each of these types of “property”. This brings up the modern-era issue of the gig economy, where people are moveable, and work for themselves rather than for an organization or company. What happens to the trust between one another us as we treat people more and more like commodities? Listen and find out.
