Kevin Sheehan joins as the first ever guest on Take Command on schedule release day in the NFL. Kevin talks with Craig Hoffman and Logan Paulsen about why he looks forward to the day, what he cares about when the schedule is announced, and why he continues to do a mock schedule every year. Logan and Craig also give a player's and a reporter's perspective on schedule release day.
The guys then dive into the Washington Commanders scheduled opponents. What games are they looking forward to? Which matchups do they want to see early or late in the season? What are the biggest storylines?
That leads to an extended conversation about the Vikings first game in DC since Kirk Cousins left, which will also feature new head coach Kevin O'Connell's return. Craig explains why he believes KOC will be a standout head coach while Logan and Kevin express their doubts.
In the first of their NFC East Divisional scouting reports, Logan and Craig look back at the New York Giants off-season so far. Logan goes deep on the NYG draft class, highlighted by Evan Neal and Kayvon Thibioeaux while Craig explains why he thinks the Giants best move was bringing in Brian Daboll as head coach.
