It's the weekend of Super Bowl 57 in Pheonix Arizona and Logan Paulsen and Craig Hoffman take a look at the news coming from radio row. Yesterday Ron Rivera won the USAA Salute to Service and afterward spoke to the media saying that as of now Sam Howell is QB1 for the Commanders and that Chase Young doesn't have a guaranteed spot on the roster for his 5th-year option. The guys look at Chase's performance over the past few years and try to figure out if he is worth that money. And Sammy Mayo asks why is it a question for Commanders to resign Daron Payne.
Then, Ron Rivera has spoken to the national media and said that he is looking forward to interviewing Eric Bieniemy after the super bowl for the OC position as he is looking to become an HC or go to a team with a defensive head coach. Also, Ron mentioned that as of right now Sam Howell has proven himself to at least go into the season as QB1. Logan Paulsen and Craig Hoffman take a look at Bieniemy being OC and Howell as QB1. And Nick asks a question regarding the draft: could Washington be looking to grab a top tight end this season?
And Finally, Craig and Logan open up the mailbag and take a couple of the really good questions we've received. Big John asks: why don't the Commanders have cross-training for the coaches with different coaching staffs (offenses with defenses etc.)? Sammy asks: anyway we could use Jamin Davis in a Micah Parsons role at times? Listen in for the guy's answers.
