院內群聚感染來到第五例。指揮中心宣布新增一例本土病例案863，她是50多歲的護理師，當初在院內爆發感染時，第一次採檢為陰性，但後續開始出現鼻塞和咳嗽症狀，17號再次採檢確診；而她本身擁有慢性咳嗽病史，確診前並沒有就醫。目前指揮中心推測，她疑似遭到案856確診的醫師感染，因為他們兩人負責同個病房，工作有高度重疊性；擔心群聚感染再擴大，指揮中心也說，取消原先 "密切接觸者"的定義，不管接觸時間長短，只要"有接觸到"的人員都得隔離，統計全院198人 現在都得居家隔離。
