關島、台北直飛航班受到疫情影響，從去年3月起停飛至今，部分台灣民眾滯留關島，而關島當地也有病患，無法出國就醫。因此，外交部駐關島、台北經濟文化辦事處等單位，促成華航人道醫療包機，11日傍晚5時25分抵達桃園機場。
此班機共有47名乘客，及13名機組人員，根據指揮中心資料，其中12位外國旅客中，有5位乘客是關島當地患者，症狀為，腫瘤需切除、心律不整、超級肥胖等，另外還有4位陪病家屬也上機，其餘35位都是台灣人。而包機抵台後，旅客比照一般入境旅客，都須依防疫規定檢疫。
