因應春節返鄉人潮，中央流行疫情指揮中心第一批釋出1,500間集中檢疫所，提供給返台民眾居住，截至今（9）天中午為止，已經有685人訂房成功，目前訂房率達到4成6，以中國返台者居多。另外，之前也有台商抱怨，住在集中檢疫所就像在監獄。對此，指揮中心也提供房間內部照片，強調房間風格其實相當多元，但還是有檢疫者認為，不同檢疫所的棉被、餐點等差異大，直呼心裡不平衡。
