美國選舉人團完成投票確認拜登當選，川普老戰友參議院多數黨領袖麥康諾也在15日公開對拜登表達恭賀，也展現十足的誠意，表示全美國人都樂見美國選出了第一位女副總統。不過川普仍然態度強硬，透過推文持續指控大選舞弊，國際間則有巴西和墨西哥總統，加入恭賀拜登的行列。
