台鐵瑞芳到猴硐站，昨（4）日上午發生嚴重走山事故，現場出動好幾台怪手，冒雨開挖搶修，根據台鐵實際估算，目前要清除的土方，高達一萬立方公尺，無奈碰上間歇性大雨，影響搶修進度。而意外發生當下的畫面也曝光，只見當時邊坡有大範圍的土石鬆落，現場人員急忙喊撤退逃離，驚險瞬間十分駭人，而這回意外發生後，台鐵也緊急將這個路段的邊坡檢測，提升到A級警戒，創下3年來首例。
