衛福部嘉義醫院麻醉科主任「曾慶暉」的女兒，12月6日在南韓首爾被酒駕民眾衝撞，不幸魂斷異鄉。由於南韓酒駕肇事，目前只處3年以上有期徒刑，曾醫師夫婦不願女兒白白犧牲，向南韓總統府「青瓦台」發起連署，國內外網友紛紛響應，短短五天就突破20萬人的門檻。對此，曾醫師夫婦也拍攝影片表達感謝，同時呼籲韓國政府重視酒駕問題，而首爾警方27日晚間也展開大規模酒測，五小時內就有31個人遭到逮捕。
