繼美國輝瑞藥廠、莫德納生技傳出捷報後，英國牛津大學與「阿斯特捷利康公司」AZ共同研發的新冠疫苗，也公布好消息。此疫苗在二期臨床試驗當中，99%的受試者在打完兩劑之後，都出現中和抗體反應，尤其對於長者也有顯著成效，並且涵蓋所有年齡層。而根據外媒分析，疫苗成本價格比輝瑞、莫德納低廉，加上不需極低溫冷藏，售價可能不到輝瑞的六分之一。
