今年公費流感疫苗開打以來，國內目前通報76件不良反應，其中有4人死亡。疾管署一再強調，死亡個案經過確認，和接種疫苗無關，但還是有家長持觀望態度，而社區接種站的排隊人潮，也不像過去這麼多。衛福部長陳時中也表示，身體不適的可能因素眾多，不等於是因為疫苗所引發，打疫苗利多於弊，鼓勵民眾還是要趕快施打。另外也有專家指出，平時自然死亡就有一定比率，呼籲疫苗還是要打，才能提升保護力。
