美國選前再度爆發警方用槍爭議，賓州費城警方獲報，一名27歲非裔男子持刀上街，警方到場後與該名男子對峙，多次要求對方把刀放下，結果男子不但不配合，還朝警方走過去，最後遭警方連開多槍，傷重不治。整起事件還在調查，不過當地挺黑團體再度上街，晚間還與警方爆發激烈衝突，至少有30名警察受傷。費城部分地區也出現商店遭到打劫的情形。在大選剩下一週的關鍵時間，美國的種族衝突再度浮上檯面。
