每年跨年的重頭戲「台北101煙火秀」今年受到疫情影響，外界關注能否如期舉行。台北101董事長張學舜在今（23）日下午親自出面宣布，跨年煙火秀將如期舉行，且規模會比照以往，演出總長度達300秒，希望疫情下可藉此激勵人心。台北101也強調，跨年煙火與北市跨年晚會是各自獨立舉辦，不受晚會是否取消影響，至於煙火秀相關的防疫規範，也會遵守指揮中心的標準辦理。
