近期我國境外移入個案持續增加當中，就怕進入秋冬季，各國疫情更加嚴峻。台北市觀傳局先前曾表示，如果台北市一週內出現15例本土加境外確診個案，就要取消大型活動包含跨年晚會或改為線上直播。對此，中央流行疫情指揮中心發言人莊人祥今（22）天在記者會上被問到這件事情，他驚訝回應，「這是我料想不到的」，並說境外移入病例都是從機場直接到檢疫場所，不會直接進入台北市，散播風險不大。最後他還反問記者說，「你們覺得是他的算法正確，還是我的正確」。
