In this show Jamie and Mar tell tales of fishing trips on the lagoon with all the shots you could ask for on spooky cracked out redfish. Andrew recaps a recent strike mission to Colorado where it's light on the snow pack but heavy on the fishing. Carl takes us on a journey to the nature coast where all of the tax money is spent on boat ramps but not on developing the beach. From the front porch of one of our all time favorite fly shops (The Fly Box) located Bristol, TN, Jamieson Andrew and Wyatt are joined by Forrest Neyman and Corey Smith. We brave the rainy conditions with the help of a couple shop beers, cigars and some world class chili dogs while we recap some of 2025's higher points. We discuss recent fishing endeavors, debate fried chicken options for days on the water and day dream over where we hope to fish in 2026. Pour a whisky, light the fire, and enjoy our ramblings.

Take a seat around the table with Ben Pickett from Tailer Trash Fly Fishing and Caleb Esparza. Caleb has done quite a lot with his 34 short years on this earth, growing up in New Smyrna Beach he cut his teeth in the surf and out in the Lagoon canoeing and fishing the back waters. Bumming rides from old salty dogs who took him under their wing and showed him the ropes along with cultivating him into a waterman. After a short stint in Miami for lot of fun and a little school, Caleb Joined the Navy where he served for 9 years. He was stationed in California and did some deployments in the Middle East before landing a sweet gig as a small boats and communications trainer in Mississippi, He started guiding in the gulf and rode out the rest of his contract making memories and friends along the way. In 2020 he and his wife welcomed their first daughter into the world and moved back to Florida where he developed into a superintendent specializing in high end residential construction and creating as much time on the water and in the woods as possible.

The boys sit down and discuss some of latest happenings in the last episode in our beloved double wide trailer known as "The Chill". Fear not... we will be moving to a new location next episode. Jamieson took a trip to visit Doggy Daddy up in Door County, with fine dining and lots of fishing! We answered some of our listeners burning questions such as beginner tips and how to plan for a good time. Wyatt had a HUGE Sumer and regailed us with the details of a week spent on the James river on his hosted trip with the hugeflyfisherman himself, Ben Sittig, at Wes Hodges Lodge. Ben shares what has been going on at the Pickett house and how these damn remodels have cut into his fishing time. The boys gather round the Old Oak Table for the first time since Larry Littrell's passing. We give a brief "State of the Doublewide" Address, Ben Sittig joins us from Colorado to recount his trip to the Lagoon to visit Larry and get on some Redfish with Ben and Carlos Pechancho. Carl Swings in from the Marina of St. Augustine to sling stories and help keep the crew in line. Marc shares of a quick trip when our native Canadian Ted was in town and finally Wyatt joins the cast around the table to talk about getting Whipray 33 running and back on the water where she belongs.

Many of the anglers and guides that were in attendance for the show joined us to give their perspective and opinions on the varied topics we cover. By the end of the episode the consensus of everyone in the room was clear, we all need to spend more time enjoying each other's company, forming friendships and associations that will build a stronger unified voice for the fisheries we love and cherish.
