Western Australias Premier Roger Cook pledges transparency on a secretive deal with Crown Perth for land needed for the states new Burswood racetrack project. The government aims to build a two hundred seventeen million dollar racetrack and entertainment precinct called Perth Park on the Burswood peninsula. Crown bought the land twelve years ago for sixty million dollars, with part of it crucial for the tracks southern section. Negotiations have been ongoing, but no deal is finalized yet.
