Show Notes

At the University of Maryland (UMD), a hands-on initiative led by students has begun to influence how campus operations approach sustainability. On May 2, McKeldin Library became the site of UMD’s first library waste audit—an event that offered more than environmental insight. It served as a case study in how decentralized, student-led data gathering can drive institutional performance and resource efficiency.
