Cindy Pedraza of CocoAndre Chocolatier joins us this week to talk about her journey to owning a chocolate business with her mom Andrea. During the 2008 recession, Cindy and her mom decided to take a leap and open a chocolate shop. Now, they own CocoAndre which specializes in artisan chocolate and horchata in Dallas, Texas. Cindy shares how her experience learning about cacao in Mexico has inspired her to help others learn about the rich history of cacao and to introduce more traditional chocolate methods to their shop. We also talk about finding inspiration in our work, and how we stay motivated to keep chasing our goals. Cindy and her mom are such an inspiration, and we can’t wait to see where they go!
