A 17-year-old unlicensed driver on bail allegedly ran a red light at 140 kilometres per hour during a police chase in Sydney's southwest, crashing into two vehicles. The collision left an innocent female driver in critical condition, clinging to life. Police are defending their pursuit actions following the serious crash.
