A 17-year-old boy climbed 30 metres up a construction crane in Ivanhoe, Melbourne, to take photos for social media. When his phone battery died and his shoes became wet, he dropped a handwritten note to police below saying he was too scared to climb down. A high-angle rescue team safely retrieved him around 10:30pm, and police indicated he would likely not face charges.
