Show Notes

A Lorenzo Carcassi violin worth $290,000, made in Florence, Italy in 1740, was stolen from a North London bar. UK police have charged a man with the theft of the rare instrument, which was on loan to violinist David Lopez Ibanez for performances with London's Philharmonia Orchestra. It remains unclear whether the nearly 300-year-old violin has been recovered.
