Petrol rationing may be introduced for Australian motorists as the Middle East conflict disrupts fuel supplies. Petrol prices have already surged by up to $4 in some areas, with wholesalers beginning to ration petrol and diesel. United Petroleum, one of Australia's largest fuel wholesalers, has suspended its usual fuel designations due to the volatile global oil market.
