MotoGP will relocate from Phillip Island in Victoria to Adelaide, South Australia, for at least the next six years. The new street circuit will follow the old Formula 1 course layout in Adelaide's CBD. Five-time MotoGP champion Mick Doohan endorses the move, noting it aligns with the sport owners' preference for an in-town race, while his son Jack Doohan serves as a reserve F1 driver aiming for a full-time seat.
