The Daily Telegraph reports that taxpayers pay over $110,000 annually for electricity at the Prime Minister's two official residences, the Lodge and Kirribilli House, despite analysis showing the department could save at least $10,000 by switching energy providers. The Prime Minister's office was warned about potential savings by AGL in 2023 but failed to act on the offer. World Happiness Day rankings place Australia at number 15, down from 11th position, with Finland topping the list for the ninth time in ten years.
