Hamnet is a historical drama film starring Paul Mescal as William Shakespeare, Jessie Buckley as his wife Agnes, and Jacoby Jupe as their son Hamnet. The film tells the tragically short life story of Shakespeare's only son, who inspired the famous play Hamlet. Jessie Buckley is favoured to win Best Actress at the Golden Globes for her portrayal of motherhood and grief in what's being described as a major tearjerker.
