Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide face mounting pressure to implement similar measures, with alternative suggestions including toll relief for rideshare and taxi drivers, increased public transport services, or discounted 'happy hour' travel periods. Petrol prices continue to rise with no immediate relief in sight as the fuel crisis extends into its third week.
