Young riders on e-bikes are using a bus-only T-Way in Sydney's west as a drag strip, playing chicken with buses and narrowly avoiding head-on collisions. Fairfield Mayor Frank Carbone is calling for stronger government enforcement of e-bike regulations, citing reduced police resources in western suburbs and concerns that minors are using these vehicles recklessly on major roads, parks and playgrounds. The mayor warns that without proper enforcement of existing laws, serious injuries or fatalities are inevitable.
