James Van Der Beek, star of Dawson's Creek, has died at age 48 after battling colorectal cancer. The actor was diagnosed in 2023 and passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and six children. In recent interviews, Van Der Beek had spoken about how his cancer diagnosis gave him a renewed appreciation for life, his family, and his passion for acting.
