In its quest to become more self-sufficient in critical raw materials, the EU is eyeing one of Europe's largest deposits of lithium, in Serbia. But opposition to mining company Rio Tinto’s Jadar project is fierce. Is there a future for mining in Europe? And if so, what does it look like? To answer these questions I am joined by Chad Blewitt, Rio Tinto’s managing director for the Jadar project.
