Amy Brown is a family nurse practitioner with a passion for building real relationships with her patients to provide comprehensive and compassionate primary care tailored to their unique needs. The for profit insurance companies in the traditional medical system can get in the way of these relationships and goals, which is why she opened MainelyNP Primary Care. I am a retired Police Officer from New Hampshire. I was born and raised in New Hampshire, so yes, I am a transplant to Maine. I moved here after spending a year on the road in an RV. My introduction into coaching came as a CrossFit coach in 2009. I coached mainly Police and Fire Fighters after donating my own home gym equipment to my Police Department. I am now an International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Master Trainer. In addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer I am a Nutritionist and hold certifications in Corrective Exercise, Strength and Conditioning, Tactical Conditioning and Bodybuilding. I enjoy working with people of all ages and enjoy the challenge of writing programs designed for an individual’s goals. My hobbies include photography, bow hunting and anything outdoors.
