Dear Steve and Shirley, my husband's father just passed away so we went to his parents’ home to make the arrangements with his mother and his sisters. With everything that his mother and sisters wanted for the funeral, it was going to be over $35,000. His father did not have life insurance, so the $35,000 would be coming from the family’s pockets. My mother passed away 5 months prior and I received a nice lump sum of money. Because my husband knew I had the money, he sat there and told his mother and sisters that ‘we’ would pay for everything.........................
