This unique project is not just a zombie story. This is a slow, inexorable descent into an ordinary nightmare that begins with disturbing reports from across the ocean and a quiet cough in the neighboring yard.

The action takes place in familiar and familiar streets, parks and alleys of Kiev. Hot summers, dusty minibuses, digger hangouts by underground rivers, cycling on islands — life goes on as usual. But somewhere in Pechersk, something inexplicable is already happening, and not only water is starting to flow through the sewers hiding ancient rivers under the city.

This is not a story about superheroes and military men, but about the most ordinary people: a teenager writing gloomy rap in his room; diggers searching for legendary moves; cyclists denying rumors; an artist rushing to record; poets locked in a cafe; and students studying "places of power." Each of them, on their usual day, is confronted with something they refused to believe in. Their routes, plans, and simple desires suddenly intersect with a common, growing wave of absurdity and horror.

There are no loud special effects here — fear is born from details: empty streets, disconnected communications, windows that no longer knock on, and silence broken only by distant screams. This is a look at the apocalypse from the inside, through the prism of irony, sarcasm and the very "Kiev" atmosphere, where even at the end of the world someone will sell books on Petrovka, and someone will argue about spirituality on the slope of Bald Mountain.

Immerse yourself in a multi—layered narrative where the fates of dozens of characters are intertwined, and the city becomes the main character - from the government quarter to the abandoned Lastochka recreation center, from the concrete gutters of Lybed to the mysterious dungeons under the old institutions.

This is not "another zombie horror movie." This is a slow, detailed, almost documentary portrait of the city and its inhabitants on the most unusual day of their lives. The day the news ended and something else began.

See the full story.
