The story thrusts the reader into a bleak and decaying universe, centuries after a cataclysmic event known as the Annihilation has all but erased humanity from the galactic stage. We are introduced to John Brausen, a man who is a ghost of his former self. Once a revered Commander and Senior Intelligence Officer of the Earth Space Force, he is now a broken addict, languishing on the squalid, alien world of Drongalia. He is a living relic, succumbing to vice and despair, his body and spirit eroded by a drug called drone, which offers a fleeting escape from his unbearable reality.

The narrative begins in the shadows of this alien planet, where John is a feared and avoided curiosity. His existence is one of sheer survival, devoid of hope, until he is unexpectedly contacted by an old comrade, Bart Lange. This encounter becomes the catalyst for a desperate and seemingly impossible mission. Bart reveals a staggering claim: that not all is lost. He speaks of a mysterious, ancient being known as the Omniarch, a Helk who possesses knowledge that could change everything. The Omniarch alleges that a significant number of Earth's women were saved before the Destruction and are still alive, hidden away in a secure location.

This revelation forces John to confront the depths of his own degradation and decide whether he has the strength to claw his way back from the abyss. The journey that follows is one of redemption, immense risk, and galactic-scale intrigue. John must reunite the last scattered remnants of humanity, a handful of traumatized and disillusioned survivors scattered across alien worlds, and transform them back into a cohesive force.

The story masterfully expands its scope from the grimy alleyways of Drongalia to the command decks of starships and the strategic chambers of powerful alien empires. As John and his ragged fleet undertake dangerous missions for their alien benefactors, they navigate a complex web of alliances and betrayals involving the humanoid Gohdonians and the formidable, empire-building Wilmutians. The narrative is steeped in a constant tension between fleeting hope and crushing despair, exploring themes of addiction, loss, the weight of command, and the desperate lengths to which a species will go to avoid extinction.

"FORGET THE EARTH 1" is a masterclass in world-building, painting a vivid picture of a used future filled with diverse alien species, advanced yet familiar technology, and the lingering ghosts of a lost human civilization. It is a story that asks whether a man who has forgotten his own worth can remember how to be a hero, and whether a people who have forgotten their home can ever find a new one amidst the cold, unforgiving vastness of space.

Attention, this video is for entertainment purposes only.

The reliability of the information requires additional study.
