BSCMC 028 - Abby and the Mystery Baby

<p>To paraphrase Joe Pantoliano’s character Cypher in <em>The Matrix</em>, “You know, I know this mystery doesn’t exist. I know that when I put it in my eyes, Ellen Miles is telling my brain that it is intriguing and cryptic. After four years, you know what I realize? Ignorance is bliss.” That’s right, there was arguably no mystery once again in this week’s Baby-Sitters Club Mystery book, much like how the film <em>Three Men and a Baby</em> is not a fun romp about three men raising a baby, but instead a gritty action film about drugs and the mafia, but we loved both regardless of how far they may have missed the mark.</p> <p>Music Credits:</p> <ul> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/comedy-pizzicato-WVMBNHS" target="_blank">“Comedy Pizzicato”</a> by lucafrancini</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/classic-arcade-video-game-6KMCVP9" target="_blank">“Classic Arcade Video Game”</a> by Adigold</li> <li>“My Sharona” (MIDI Version) originally performed by the Knack</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/beat-box-1-LY6Z948" target="_blank">“Beat Box 1”</a> by HollywoodEdge</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/typewriter-blues-W54K2FQ" target="_blank">“Typewriter Blues”</a> by AllenGrey</li> <li>“Building a Mystery” (Karaoke Version) originally performed by Sarah McLachlan</li> <li>“Smoke Two Joints” (Karaoke Version) originally performed by Sublime</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/epic-patriotic-breakbeat-8D6AYLK" target="_blank">"Epic Patriotic Breakbeat”</a> by StereoNuts</li> <li>“Caress Me Down” (Karaoke Version) originally performed by Sublime</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/once-upon-a-dark-time-T394P6S" target="_blank">“Once Upon a Dark Time”</a> by AllenGrey</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/just-a-little-hope-TNEPUL4" target="_blank">“Just A Little Hope”</a> by Adigold</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/warmth-of-the-sun-BHEQWC7" target="_blank">“Warmth Of The Sun”</a> by Adigold</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/look-into-my-eyes-EKBGQS5" target="_blank">“Look Into My Eyes”</a> by AGsoundtrax</li> <li><a href="https://elements.envato.com/beautiful-darkness-SDEKAXU" target="_blank">“Beautiful Darkness” </a>by AllenGrey</li> </ul> <p>Thanks to original <a href="http://www.twitter.com/scottlamb" target="_blank">Baby Boy Scott Lamb</a> for the intro music and <a href="http://www.bandcamp.com/superbrat" target="_blank">Superbrat</a> for the outro music.</p> --- Support this podcast: <a href="https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jack-shepherd8/support" rel="payment">https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jack-shepherd8/support</a>
