Goodbye and good riddance, 2022-23...
For the final time this season, The Athletic's Chelsea experts Liam Twomey and Dom Fifield are alongside Matt Davies-Adams to round off a year to forget for CFC.
But we start with some good news! For just after we finished recording (of course) it was *finally* confirmed that Mauricio Pochettino is the new Blues boss. Liam pops back to talk us through the announcement.
The respite doesn't last long, as we take you on a trip down memory lane through this shocking campaign, before rounding up the draw with Newcastle and 4-1 hammering at Manchester United - with the help of a vintage Simon Johnson voice note before he escaped on his holidays.
There's joy for CFCW as Emma Hayes' side wrapped up their fourth straight WSL title in style at relegated Reading to continue their supremacy in the women's game.
We revisit some very questionable pre-season predictions, partake in a quiz for old time's sake - and look ahead to what's surely a far more positive 2023-24 season to come...
